What is the Thrive Approach?
Thrive is a social and emotional wellbeing intervention that provides a way of working with children that helps to develop their social and emotional well-being, enabling them to engage with life and learning. It is taught through creativity and play. Thrive supports them in becoming more self-assured, capable, and adaptable to build a strong enough stress management system that enables them to cope with life’s challenges.
What are the benefits of Thrive?
Thrive teaches an understanding and shines a light on the children’s behaviour and what they are trying to communicate to us, it then provides children with the strategies to change that behaviour.
- It promotes productive learning for all children
- It gives individual targeted or group support for children.
- It leads to better relationships at home and in school.
- It provides ongoing support and assessment using online tools.
